Mike Parsons has been a long servicing personal trainer in Cardiff for 15 years. His vast experience in the fitness indsutry and has helped him build a successful gym and still to today a thriving Personal Training business that inspires clients to achieve what ever goals they have.
In 2016 Mike flew out to Texas to study with two of the highly regarded strength coaches in the industry today. Joe Defranco (Defranco Training Systems) and James Smith of Diesel Strength and studied under them to qualify as a Certified Performance Preparation Specialist.
The CPPS Certification develops world-class fitness professionals through a unique and interactive environment of learning and coaching. The CPPS system provides the most comprehensive coaching model, built on the 8 pillars of performance; pre-movement preparation, strength training, power, speed, core training, program design, mental toughness and fat loss.
The CPPS certification is the gold standard for strength coaches, personal trainers, athletic performance coaches, physical therapists, fitness enthusiasts, and those who want a deeper knowledge and education in the fitness and strength & conditioning field.
Mike is now committed to deliver his training systems to his personal training clients and online clients who have all benefitted from his 15 years of knowledge.
There are many different areas to Mikes day, from elite level sportsman, up to 40 hours per week of personal training and tutoring to students in his education company The Fitness Factory Training Academy. FFC has hosted the likes of Cardiff City, Cardiff Blues, Cardiff RFC and the Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey Team. During his 5 years with the Cardiff Devils, Mike helped them become world record holders for the most consecutive winning streak (Guinness book of records) and Challenge Cup Champions 2015.
